So Bouncer is me, a 35 year old Australian woman (Laura) who loves her country and travelling, Mallow is my 2012 white FJ Cruiser.
I have had Mallow for nearly 4 years now and she came with a lot of her inclusions on her and I have added my fair share since.
I travel solo for the most part, due to unavailable friends and not having a partner.
So Mallow has a fridge, 2 drawers and a table in the rear, a Darche 270 Awning out the passenger side and a solar panel on the bonnet by Lensun Solar. She is running an Oricom UHF, dual batteries and a Redarc BCDC charger.
I have been camping all my life, starting as kids and continued as an adult, but more so in the last 5-7 years.
I sleep in a Tusker swag inside a pop up mozzie dome and love the simplicity of this as it all fits in my car. On longer trips I now have a new addition of Max my Navara tub on a trailer with a Kings roof top tent on it. This has been worked on a bit in the last 12 months to add in new electrics, new stabilising legs and a replacement front lockable tub.
I decided that as I love writing about my travels and as a single female in the wilderness I could be someone who could inspire other women to travel solo, so here I am.
